As a bridal store owner, you have already been to the trade shows and fairs and selected your dresses for your 2020 bridal collection. Off course I was also there trying to figure out the hot new bridal trends for 2020 brides. As always there was a lot of the same, but there were also some new trends that I want to share with you.
One of my favorite bridal trends for 2020 is the bridal blazer. It’s a fantastic look for a fashion forward bride, but also a great choice for when two brides a tying the knot and one of them doesn’t want the whole dress experience, but still wants to look bridal and feminine. It’s an excellent choice.
There were also some very theatrical elements in the 2020 collections. Big bows, lots of layering and gold is hot! Gold is also popular in the Old Hollywood style wedding dresses that I have seen for 2020. Very glamorous! A neckline is making a comeback is the one shoulder. I didn’t yet expect it’s return, until I saw several gorgeous gowns with this fashionable neckline. Sleeves are still big, but the new trend are off-the shoulder straps. With these gowns the straps are hanging nonchalant off-the-shoulder.
I love the fact that the 2020 bridal collections have lots of fashion forward elements. As a bride you have lots of ways to express your personal style because there simply is so much choice. Here is a list of my favorite 2020 bridal trends for you and your brides.
I absolutely love this 2020 bridal trend. So classy and fashion forward. I hope this trend continues, because it’s a great option for older brides and brides that don’t want th whole bridal dress experience, but are still looking for a fantastic outfit.

Off-the-shoulder straps
Off-the-shoulder straps are elegant and timeless and give your dress a very romantic look. In 2020 we see lots of gowns in this style. It can look beautiful with a simple less is more style dress but also with a sparkling ball gown.

The old Hollywood style that we see in 2020 doesn’t have a lot of decoration but is very slick and elegant. Satin and gold tones are often used to create this look.

In 2020 brides can look very theatrical. Especially in some of the couture collections I saw absolutely stunning theatrical creations. If a bride is looking for drama, then this is it!
